I read the forums comments at "$750", found some entertainment value, but man, 750 a bottle. Seems most of those folks were OK with that, for an 05 made here in the states, (not even a 30 year old Bordeaux). I'm just a poor working stiff trying to enjoy a life that includes some nice wine. I'd be fretting so badly about possibly spilling a drop I wouldn't be able to enjoy the drink. I wish I could justify the $75 price for an 05 Burgundy I'd like to try. Parkers forum seems obviously geared to the wealthy, not us average middle class Joe's. I'm with you, lots of good wine in the 20-80 range, some even rated by Parker in the mid 90's.
